A few images taken whilst in Iceland

Deliberately taken using the ‘wrong’ white balance setting, this image actually turned out to be a perfect lead-in to the cold weather that was to come.

A nice little bit of white-on-white from one of the many little churches dotted around this splendid country.

An almost seamless level between a snowdrift and the top of a wall.

I was being buffeted around by extremely strong gusts of wind whilst attempting to capture this image.

Two church windows support brows of snow.

All the stones on the beach get tossed around when the waves push up the beach

Very big and very powerful waves

Our wonderful, ‘secret’ beach

Deliberate tungsten image number 3

Just a short walk away from the lighthouse (above) was this little red hut.

Pretty much the only green in the valley (that wasn’t moss).

A long exposure while out hunting aurora

Whilst everyone exited vehicles to snap the landscapes, I took this documenting our little roadside stop
