$Myself and a friend went to Dunluce Castle today - amongst other locations - and here\'s a shot from that set. It was taken handheld using The Monster. I have to say, that lens is going to take some getting used to, but I\'m already enjoying the results I get from it. More images from today will be posted when I\'m not quite so shattered - The Monster is bloody heavy.$

$I took this yesterday specifically for posting here. Actually, I took a lot of images yesterday at Dunluce Castle with the intention of putting in my 366 set, so there\'s likely to be a few more appearing over the coming days. This was taken looking West from the Castle wall of part of the Antrim coastline.$

$Another one from the Dunluce Castle trip. Simple idea, see a hole in a wall and point your camera through it. I wouldn\'t advise that course of action on a wall that has occupants on the other side of it though. Luckily for me, this one didn\'t.$

$Back to Dunluce Castle for today\'s photograph (I\'m nearly done with the pictures I took on this trip, so regular transmission will resume shortly), this was taken just after 024 - Straw. I was just about to make my way down a set of steps when I noticed the ridges of the staircase that I was on and quickly snapped this photo.$

$This is a different image to <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/scifigeek/5562264566/in/set-72157626358565620/\" target=\"_blank\">this one</a>, as I took two shots of the same subject deliberately. I just love the perspective and depth of field on both these shots. This is also the penultimate image to be included in this set from my day trip out to Dunluce Castle/Portballintrae/Ballintoy.$

$I did a pre dawn photo trip this morning to Knockagh Monument in the hope that I\'d be able to photograph the sunrise. While I was waiting for that to happen I took a few pictures of the surrounding landscape. This is the Lighthouse on Mew Island, which marks the beginning of the approach to Belfast for ships coming from the south and east.$

$Okay, so technically it\'s Belfast in the very early morning … The final one of these images that I\'ll be using for this set. The rest of the images from the early morning trip will be posted later today.$

$This was just one of a load of birds (seagulls, swans, ducks) that were clamouring for food being thrown their way by various people. It\'s just one shot of a lot I have remaining from this moment, but it\'s also one of the more graceful photos of a bird in flight that I think I\'ve ever taken.$

$One of my favourite abstract photos that I\'ve taken. Taken in Marble Arch Caves after a couple of days of heavy rain. We weren\'t able to go on the full tour of the cave system due to flooding. This is just some of that flooding. The platform that I was standing on to take this photo was under water earlier that day, so this image wouldn\'t have been possible had we decided to visit here sooner.$

$The spire of St. Patrick\'s Church, Donegall Street, Belfast.$

$I took a quick photowalk around the Waterfront area of Belfast tonight. I got a few images, most of which are far better than this, but y\'know … I\'ve gotta start somewhere. *shrug*$

$366-366 - Closed for Business - It\'s a metaphor, see?$
