Silent Valley & Ben Crom Reservoirs
A photographic journey which encompassed a 10 mile walk across bogland and up near-vertical hillsides.
It was far from easy going, but some great views.
Mourne Mountains
Me and a friend (and a friend) decided to go for a walk … up a snow covered mountain.
Taking advantage of the current cold spell in the weather, we thought it might be nice to go for a walk in the Mourne Mountains.
The weather couldn’t have been better; clear, crisp air, high cloud cover with frequent breaks so we saw sunlight and blue sky.
There was still a lot of snow about (see the pics) and in places it was quite icy underfoot, but we managed to get the the wall at the foot of Slieve Donard.
Carrickfergus
A friend and I finally got around to finishing our Carrickfergus photo walk that we started over three years ago!
Black and White Experimentation
I recently went on a photo trip with two friends to Lower Lough Erne in County Fermanagh. Whilst there I decided I’d take some landscape photos with the express intention of making them black and white.
I don’t know why I’d never considered doing B&W landscapes before, but I do like the results I got here.

Sunday Sunrise
I’ll try and keep words to a minimum here.
Some things get me out of bed (work) and some things I get out of bed for (photography).
Takamine EAN20CX
My friend has this beautiful looking Takamine semi-acoustic guitar. He’s had it for quite some time now and it’s taken me this long to get to asking him if I could photograph it. (more…)
Online Photo Sharing Thoughts
Just recently there’s been some concern about online image ownership. This subject seems to be on a never-ending roundabout thanks to image sharing sites changing their terms & conditions of usage as well as others (notably TwitPic) being bought up, which almost inevitably leads to a change in the terms of service anyway.
This is partly why I created this site to begin with, so I’d have complete control of everything relating to my photographs, and it’s also why I use Flickr.
