Sci-Fi Observations from Egypt

I like science fiction. I’m proud of the knowledge I have regarding TV and film sci-fi (I don’t get a lot of time to read SF). I make no secret of the fact I like sci-fi (it is, after all, what the SF stands for in the title of this site).

While I was wandering around Egypt I saw a few things that made me pause and smile while I had my camera with me.
At the time I thought to myself that I was being silly photographing such trivialities, but I photographed them any way. I didn’t have to do anything with the images if I didn’t want to.

After being back for over a month and looking at the images again, I realised that I did the right thing in pushing my doubts aside.
I like the images I’ve collected here. They help remind me that there’s other things to notice outside of the tourist attractions.
Sometimes it’s the little things.

Larger versions of these images are here on my Flickr.

Thank you for the lovely comment, Punk Chopsticks.
It’s nice to receive comments, it’s even nicer to get comments from a fellow geek.
