An afternoon and early evening spent in the port of Alexandria.
A lot of the time we spent inside the new library (or Bibliotheca Alexandrina) marvelling at it’s construction and looking at the exhibits it houses in the museum which is inside it.
Venturing outside we were greeted with a spectacular sunset, after which we ventured down to the fort before heading back towards the train station to take us back to Cairo.
